The story of the place
On the Nkam river, in the Moungo, the Ekom falls drop 80 metres in the middle of the forest. They are in the village of Ekom-Nkam, of the Baréko people. Cinema made them known: “Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan” was filmed there, in 1984. Source: Wikipedia.

Good to know
- Entry and fees
- On site, an access fee or a guide may be asked for, and prices change: agree on the price before you start.
- Who to go with
- In a group rather than alone, and if possible with someone who knows the way.
- What to bring
- Water, good shoes (the rocks are slippery) and something to cover up. Do not swim without asking local people first, and take your rubbish back with you.
