Your NiceThings profile: an @name, signed reviews, your outings and a badge
No e-mail, no phone number: an @name and a PIN, and you exist on NiceThings. Your reviews carry your face, your outings raise your level, and the first hundred members stay “Pioneers” forever. Here is how it works.

On many apps, reviews are anonymous. You do not know who is talking, or whether they ever went there. On NiceThings, every review, every comment and every photo carries a name and a face. That is the whole point of the profile.
30 seconds, no e-mail, no phone number
- Choose your @name. It is unique: nobody else can take it. It is also the address of your page: nicethings.site/@yourname.
- Choose a 6-digit PIN. It opens your profile on any phone.
- Keep your rescue code. It is shown only once, when you sign up, and it lets you choose a new PIN if you forget the old one. Take a screenshot.
- Add your face. Your photo, or one avatar among thousands.
What you can do
- Give your review: your stars, what you liked (the food, the atmosphere, the welcome…), who you were with, and how much you paid per person. Your review shows under the place, with your face.
- Post an outing (“My outing”): up to 4 photos or one video, at a real place, with the mood of the moment: 🔥 It was lit, 😌 Chilled, ❤️ Date night, ⚽ Match night…
- Say what is happening right now: open, closed, lively, calm, full, power cut. Your update stays up for six hours, for everyone.
- Write “Tell the taxi”: the exact sentence to say to the taxi or the motorbike taxi to get to the right spot.
- Follow the members whose outings you like, and keep up with their news.
- Comment and like in your own name.
Every gesture counts
Every contribution earns you points: 10 for a review, 8 for a photo or an outing, 5 for written directions, 2 for a comment, 1 for a “right now” update, and 1 each time someone likes what you gave or finds it useful. Points raise your level:
- Newcomer, from sign-up: welcome to the area.
- Regular, at 30 points: we see you around a lot.
- Connoisseur, at 100 points: you know where to go.
- Life of the party, at 250 points: you bring the vibe wherever you go.
- Neighbourhood legend, at 600 points: the whole neighbourhood knows you.
And the first hundred members keep the Pioneer badge forever. After them, there will be no more.
The verified badge
A blue tick next to a name means the team has checked that it really is the person, the business or the creator it claims to be. You can ask for it from your profile, with a link that proves it: your Instagram, your TikTok, your business’s website. The gold tick is the founder’s; the NiceThings team has its own.
Your member card
Your profile has its card, like the one that opens this article: your face, your name, your member number, your badges and your numbers. Share it on WhatsApp, or as a status: it also comes in a format made for that, with a QR code that leads to your page.
Get started
Create your profile in 30 seconds, give your first review of a place you know well, and share your card. Your member number is yours: nobody else will ever have it.
- The founder has card no. 0001. Which number did you get? Tell us in the comments.
- Which place deserves your very first review?
