Grotte de Fovu
Nature & parks in Bafoussam.
The story of the place
In Baham, in Bamileke country, the Fovu cave is a set of natural cavities and a sacred site of purification. Over about fifteen hectares, huge granite boulders, some 15 m high, form natural shelters among the trees. The biggest, “the cathedral”, is 40 m long. It is said to be the place where the royal line speaks with the spirits. Source: Wikipedia.
